The bizarre excuses given to forbid women from voting

WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE : WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE HATS ?!?!?

    This is, of course, just making me want to buy another hat. An enormous one to wear to conferences and upset the men sitting behind me.
