The panda has a very complex evolutionary strategy

There's a reason pandas are endangered. Here it is.


On the other hand, maybe this was their strategy all along : to evolve a bizarre mixture of (apparent) cuddliness and horrendous "fail at everything" incompetence so that another species will adopt them and save them from themselves.

  1. I dunno...they've clearly evolved that fat butt specifically to survive this sort of thing without even really noticing it happened, as far as I can tell. They've already achieved Peak Panda!
