I know why the octopus has multiple hearts

Obviously, it's because they're time-travelling aliens. There's a peer reviewed paper about this so it must be true. Multiple hearts clearly identify their home planet as Gallifrey, except their blood is blue and they look a bit like Daleks without the shell. Conclusion ? Octopuses are the hybrid the Twelfth Doctor warned us about. Prove me wrong, I dare you.
