Pretty engaging so far. Sort of like Game of Thrones if you took all the magic away. Does have a few pacing issues and people like interrupting each other, and the soundtrack is not to my taste, but it's very watchable.

ReplyDeleteIt's not bad. I haven't made any connections with the characters but it's fun skimming wikipaedia and looking up folks. I like how Alfred actor looks more like the illuminated manuscripts then the big statue of him.

ReplyDeleteMe and my boy watch Vikings. It really gets his Saxon blood pumping. It covers the history of several Viking Kings though instead of just Ragnar. Kind of a montage instead of an Autobiography. Great fight scenes, and interesting religious discussions make Vikings worth watching.
