They might have measured that with some sort of high-performance Panasonic batteries that you can readily buy in Japan but not necessarily Europe.
ReplyDeleteSorry the physics don't add up. You have to move the energy outside of the back back whilst the back pack is being heated by the environment. I really can't see 4aa batteries lasting long and there will need to be very good insulation.

Adrian Chapmanlaw I don't think it's actually doing any air-conditioning or active cooling, looks like it's just providing airflow.
ReplyDeleteOliver HamiltonThey might have squeezed a Peltier element into the airstream, but I don't see the 'hot'exhaust that would result. And the runtime would be then measured in hundreds of seconds.
