ReplyDeleteis this not the best of all possible outcomes?
ReplyDeleteWell, you might get yet another new election out of it. What fun!
ReplyDeleteNow is the time, Rhys Taylor ! Form a party, get on TV, reverse Brexit!
ReplyDelete....Nevermind, apparently Zombie Ian Paisley is going to prop up the Tories a bit longer. Ughhh.
Richard G Yeah, it was very nearly the best outcome. A few more seats lost by the Tories and we'd have something much more interesting. However, given the pressure that will now be on May, I suspect we'll be in that interesting situation rather quickly.

ReplyDeleteRight now I want to be an independent Scot in the EU. Or French. Which would be quite different from my current status as a Cornish American in the US.
Richard G: Possibly, but these are such weird times that it actually makes some sense: Scotland remaining inside EU might right now be a bigger issue — and vote-getter — for SNP than Scotland not remaining inside UK.
