Is this just a value issue, where eyes interpret color based on relative value around it? I mean, it doesn't look like hue is changing.
ReplyDeleteI think so, yes. If you look at the static image in the link and blank out everything around the stripe, it's clear that hue is constant.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's doing exactly what it looks like it's doing. Download the image, open it up in GIMP or Paint, and do the movement yourself. At least, that convinced me. :)
